Creepy Crawly

I started working on a couple of Halloween cards and decided to do one for the Creepy Crawly card challenge at Cards in Envy.

I embossed some Core'dinations Black Magic paper with a spider web embossing folder and then used sandpaper to distress it. The spider was cut with my Cricut. Simple and quick card!

Believe

Here's another Christmas card I've made for one of the WCMD challenges at the Turtle Soup Mini Crop. It was simple.....you just had to make a Christmas card.

Such a simple card but I really like it. It was so quick and easy, I made several of them!

Fall Colors

I've got an inspiration challenge up at Turtle Soup today. I wanted to do a fall layout but not using the usual orange colors. I found this mood board on Design Seeds and thought it was perfect.

And here's my layout

This photo was perfect for these fall colors. I got messy with the background using texture paste and mists. The triangles were cut with my cricut and I backed some of them with some old fall papers I had. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Christmas Cards

We're celebrating World Cardmaking Day over at Turtle Soup so I decided I would get a jump start on my Christmas cards with some of the challenges.

This first one is for a white on white embossed card challenge.

This one is for a die cut challenge.

This 2nd one was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. You can see it here.

So if you're looking for some fun WCMD challenges and games, please stop by Turtle Soup and play along with us! Hope to see you there!
