All Occasion Card

Here's a card I made using a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap. It is such a cute little sketch and it can be used for just about any type of cards. I like to have several all occasion card on hand so if something comes up unexpectedly, I'm ready.

And here's the sketch

This also fits a challenge at the Turtle Soup March Mini Crop where you had to use any kind of tape on your project. Perfect for all my washi tape!

Thanks for stopping by!

More Easter Cards

WooHoo! Finally got my Easter Cards finished. I struggle with these each year. I have such a hard time coming up with ideas for my little granddaughters. If we lived closer I'd just make an Easter basket for them, it would be soooo much easier!

I love how they both turned out. And I was able to enter them in a couple of challenges at the Turtle Soup March Mini Crop. Stop by and join in on the fun. The crop lasts all week and there are lots of fun challenges going on. Hope to see you there!

Happy Easter!

Thought it was about time I started on my Easter cards. Finished my first one and only have two more to go. I'm going to enter this into the Cards in Envy Spring is in the Air challenge.

I embossed the three panels of flowers, then punched out some mini snowflakes for the flower centers and then added a bit of stickles for a little sparkle. This came together nice and quick.

Happy Scrapping!

Kissing Booth

I've got a challenge up at Turtle Soup today. It's a Crash your Stash challenge along with a beautiful sketch since we're having a month long sketchathon going on.

And here's the sketch

And since this is a Crash Your Stash Challenge you need to use at least 4 different embellishments that have been in your stash for at least 1 year.  The flowers, both red and white, chalkboard heart, twine and washi tape have been in my stash for at least a couple of years, probably longer.

If you like sketches come join us at Turtle Soup. There are lots of great sketches just waiting for you to work your creativity magic with them! Hope to see you there!

Yahoo!

Today I have a challenge up at Turtle Soup. Since we are having a month long sketchathon going on you have to use the card sketch along with my challenge today. I was playing around with some aluminum foil trying to get it to look like aged metal. I wrapped it around some cardstock and then ran it through my Cuttlebug with the swirly embossing folder. I then took some black alcohol ink and rubbed it all over trying to get it into the ridges really good. Then I just carefully wiped some of the ink off using a paper towel. I love how this turned out!

And here's the sketch

This sketch was just perfect for this project! Like I said Turtle Soup is having a month long sketchathon going on this month. We would love it if you stopped by and played along with some of our challenges.

Happy Scrapping!

Red and White

Here's another fun little card I made last week. It was for a Feb. Mini Crop challenge at Turtle Soup. It was a recipe challenge and you had to use only red and white, stamp something, punch something and use a ribbon.

This was a quick and easy one and I love how it turned out!

Believe

Here's a Christmas layout of my 2 granddaughters. This was for a challenge for the Feb. Mini Crop at Turtle Soup. You had to use red, white and black for the most part of the layout.

I cut the background circles out using my Gypsy and Cricut and added some patterned paper to some of the circles. And then I went a little crazy with the flowers and leaves. I used up several different packages of them and then mixed in some pearl strands. The white stitching at the top is an old rub-on. I was surprised that it came out so well. And the bottom red stitching is a really old sticker. The Believe is wood that I dry brushed with some white paint and then put red stickles on the heart over the i. It's been a while since I've done a red, white and black layout and I forgot how much I like them.
