I've got a challenge up at Cookin' Up Creations today. This month's theme is Show Me the Love and we are also trying to use up our stash. My challenge is to use 1 photo of someone or something you love and then pull out all those scraps. I know you've got a pile...we all do! I also want to see some torn edges.

Merry and Bright

We've got a mini crop going on over at Creative Inspiration.This month's theme is all things RED, Love, Family, Kids, Valentines and Hearts. I decided to go with family.

I always have a hard time with busy background paper and this piece was only busy around the edges. It was easier than I thought it would be. I might try using more of these types of papers. It came together so quickly!

Cutie Pie

I've got a new stash challenge up at Creative Inspiration today. It's a recipe challenge and you must use flowers, bling, die cuts and punches.

I used up a lot of stash on this page. Even the background paper is old. The bling is pieces of left over flourishes that I had cut apart. I almost threw these pieces away a couple of years ago. Sure am glad I held on to them now!

Best Day Ever

I've got a challenge up at Cookin' Up Creations today. Our theme this month is Show Me The Love and we are continuing our January theme of using up our stash. So today's challenge is to show some love for your patterned papers. You'll need to use at least 3 busy patterned papers and at least one old embellishment.

I'm trying to use up some of my Disney stash since I have so much of it and this was a perfect way to use up such busy papers. While I was digging around in my stash I came across a box of old Tim Holtz fragments. I can't even remember the last time I used those so I thought why not use it on top of a Disney sticker and it was the perfect fit. Might have to start using some more of them!

This paper is really busy so I kept my page pretty simple.

Congrats

We've got a new card sketch up today over at Atlantic Hearts Sketches. I needed a wedding card for my brother but it couldn't be too frou frou. They're not having a big wedding or reception and they don't even want any gifts. So this is what I came up with...hope they like it.
