Selfie

Today I am sharing a layout I made for the Robin's Nest DT. I took my inspiration from the Blue Tip card in the corner of the photo. I really like the blue and orange color combo.

Supply List:
Doilies
Ink
Wood Veneer
Orange and Pale Green Cardstock

To start I cut some wavy strips of Moss Green Glitter Paper and Orange Cardstock and attached them to the top and bottom of the Pale Green Cardstock. I also matted the photo with some Orange Cardstock and layered both on the Blue Glitter Chipboard and the Daisy Stripe Teal PaperI offset the photo on the blue glitter chipboard so I could add one of the Orange Crush Cards to the corner.

I inked the doily with orange ink and cut it in half and placed them so they would peak out on either side of the photo.

For the title I cut out one of the Blue Glitter Journaling Cards and inked it with a pale blue ice ink so it would appear softer. I added the Alpha Glitter Stickers and an inked wood veneer arrow.

I then stamped a couple of wood veneer flowers and added them along with a couple of diecuts. And then sprinkled some assorted Dew Drops around the page.

Genuine Boy

Here's my 1st layout for the Robin's Nest  DT. I had so much fun working with their amazing products. The theme for this month is All Boy and that's a hard one for me. I hardly ever get any pics of our grandson but I finally found this one. It's really a Christmas photo but it went perfectly with the boy themed papers so I decided to scrap it without using traditional Christmas colors.

Here's the supply list:
Corrugated Chipboard
Wood Veneers
Ticket
Notebook Punch
Gesso
Inks
Brick Stencil

I started by wiping gesso around the edges of the back side of the Dinosaur Cardstockthen stenciled the brick pattern over the gesso using a tan colored ink. I then took the Red Plaid Linen Cardstock and tore two somewhat square pieces to use as the top mat and the reverse side for the bottom photo mat. In between those two mats I used a torn square piece of the reverse side of the Special Delivery/Boys PlaidI also inked all  the edges of the three mats.

For the title I used the Belgian Chocolate Boy Rub-on.

I cut a strip of the Special Delivery/Boys Plaid and punched it using a notebook edge punch and then scrunched up the edges. Then added the wood veneer, corrugated chipboard star cutout, ticket and chain.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Here's the sketch we had to work with

This was my granddaughter's first day of Preschool and she was so excited to start school like her big sister.
I just grabbed all my school themed papers and started cutting and gluing. I am very happy with how it turned out.
Please stop by Turtle Soup to join in this sketch challenge. We are having a month long party to celebrate the beginning of our 4th year. We've got great challenges and games with lots of amazing prizes. We hope you'll stop by and help us celebrate our birthday! Hope to see you there!
