Thinking of You Card

 There's a new card sketch up at Atlantic Hearts Sketches. We have a new card sketch every Monday and on Wednesday we announce the top three winners from the previous week and reveal the Dt members examples of the new sketch.

This is such a versatile sketch and comes together quickly. So if you need a card in a hurry, this sketch is for you. I used papers and ephemera from Simple Stories Lemon Zest Collection. The sentiment square was a piece I had floating around on my desk (no idea where it came from) and the stamp is from the dollar bins that Michaels used to have years ago.

Squeeze the Day

 I've got a new challenge up at Cookin' Up Creations today. Our theme this month is Clue, the Scrapbook Game. We are using the characters, weapons and rooms from the board game to come up with some fun challenges. You get to be the detective and figure out who, what and where. For each challenge you complete you will get a clue to help you solve the crime. So the more challenges you complete, the more clues you will receive. The person who solves the crime will get a prize.

I chose Col. Mustard for this challenge. So you'll need to use yellow and lots of layers on your layout. 

I used Simple Stories, Simple Vintage Lemon Twist collection against a solid yellow piece of cardstock on my layout.  I hope you'll play along with us.

Magical

 We've got a new and fun sketch up at Sketches in Thyme today. This is such a fun sketch by Laura Rumble. I just loved all the white space she had in her design.

I decided this sketch was perfect for a Disney page. I dug into my immense stash of Disney stuff and found the perfect paper. I tore the dotted paper using an old wave ruler that I've had for ages and don't think I've ever used. It tore so nicely that I plan on using it more often. The rest is just from all the scraps I have and the tiny words are stickers. It really came together quickly.

Easter Card

I've always wanted to try colored pencils on kraft cardstock so I decided to try it with this little Easter Basket. I like how it came out! The papers I used were scraps from an old Bo Bonny Easter collection.

Biker Babes

 I've got a new challenge up at Cookin' Up Creations today. Our theme this month is Clue, the Scrap Game. For each challenge you complete you'll get a clue to solve the murder. So the more challenges you do, the more clues you'll get to solve the murder. This is always such a fun theme!

I chose the candlestick for the murder weapon. So for this challenge you'll need to use splatters which will represent the wax drippings from the candle. Along with that you'll also need to add some die cuts to your page. On my page I've added pink and purple splatters along with scooter and roadway die cuts.
